February can be overwhelming. It is the month that surrounds us with reminders of love, the kind we have in our lives and sometimes, the kind we are still searching for. For some, it is a season of joy and celebration. For others, it can feel isolating.
That is why, at Mothership, we celebrate Valentine’s throughout the entire month of February. To us, this season is not just about romance. It is about love in all its forms, in friendships, in community, in the small moments of kindness we share with one another. Without our community, without the connections we are able to create and inspire every day, our hearts too would feel empty.
February is a month to honor companionship, connection, and the quiet, everyday ways we show love. That is why this month, we are embracing that spirit by partnering with Vegas Roots Rescue, an organization that embodies kindness, compassion, and the power of second chances.

Vegas Roots Rescue steps in for animals who have been abandoned or neglected, animals who have known heartbreak and fear. Through the hands and hearts of volunteers, foster families, and dedicated veterinarians, they are given a chance to heal, to trust, and to find homes where they are loved unconditionally.
Every time I think about their work, I am reminded of why we do what we do at Mothership. Coffee has always been more than just a drink. It is a way to bring people together, to create spaces where connection and care are at the heart of everything. Partnering with Vegas Roots Rescue felt like a natural extension of that belief. By working together, we can share their story and be part of something that truly makes a difference.
Behind the scenes, we have spent time thinking about how to bring this partnership to life in a way that feels true to who we are. Dedicating this month to highlighting their work felt right. We want to shine a light on their mission and invite you to be part of it because, together, we can create a ripple effect of compassion that extends far beyond our café walls.
