Dear Beautiful Community,
Looking back at our Grand Opening at our newest café at The Bend brings me such joy. It feels like it was just yesterday we were cutting the ribbon and welcoming all of you into this new space. The best part? The excitement hasn’t faded one bit. If anything, the energy and love you’ve shown over these past few weeks have made it clear that The Bend is already becoming something truly special.
For those of you who were there, you know exactly what I’m talking about, the kind of day that fills your heart to the brim. And if you couldn’t make it, let me take a moment to share why it meant so much to us.
The ribbon cutting, led by the amazing team at AAPI Chamber and our CEO, Juanny Romero, was one of those unforgettable moments. It wasn’t just about opening a new café. It was about celebrating community, connection, and everything we stand for at Mothership.
That day was filled with so many highlights. Rachelle Luna brought inspiration and creativity with her book signing, the first 100 guests went home with free bags of coffee, and one incredibly lucky person won free coffee for an entire year. I still can’t get over the line that stretched all the way to the street, filled with smiles, laughter, and a shared sense of excitement.
What has truly stayed with me, though, is what you’ve shared about the space since then. “This is the kind of spot you never want to leave” and “The vibes are just perfect” are just a few of the beautiful things we’ve heard. Knowing that The Bend is already feeling like home to so many of you makes my heart so full.
The truth is, we’re only just beginning. Over the next few months, we’ll be rolling out workshops, tastings, and a few surprises that we can’t wait to share with you. This isn’t just about coffee; it’s about creating a space where you can connect, unwind, and feel a little more grounded in your day.
Thank you for making these past three weeks unforgettable and for showing us what a community can truly do when it comes together. The journey is only getting started, and we’re so grateful to have you along for the ride.
With love,
Mother Roast
