Description
We're excited to introduce Mexico Marachi, a beautifully balanced medium roast that feels just as at home as a rich espresso as it does in a French press. Whether you enjoy it black or with your favorite dairy, this coffee delivers comforting sweetness and remarkable clarity in every cup. Our roasting team tasted buttery toffee, the honey-like sweetness of graham cracker, and a smooth hazelnut finish that lingers long after the last sip.
We taste: Toffee, Graham Cracker, Hazelnut
ORIGIN & STORY
From: Monte Azul Cooperative, Chiapas, Mexico
About
Nestled along Mexico's southern border with Guatemala, Chiapas is one of the country's most celebrated coffee-growing regions. Its rugged mountains, volcanic soil, and dependable rainfall create ideal conditions for producing exceptional coffee.
This Marachi lot is sourced from a collection of dedicated smallholder farmers who continue to use traditional cultivation methods, including natural composting and shade-grown farming practices that help preserve the region's rich biodiversity. After harvest, the coffee is delivered to Finca Monte Azul, where careful washing, processing, and preparation ensure every lot meets the highest quality standards before export.
The result is a coffee that reflects the character of Chiapas: approachable, balanced, and consistently exceptional. We're proud to share this special roast with you.
